At NEPS we deliver the Respectful Relationships lessons in each classroom each week. These lessons are designed to teach our students how to build healthy relationships, and to be resilient and confident. This term, students have begun to focus on emotional literacy, building their understanding of emotions, what they might look and feel like in themselves and others. They are considering how their emotions might impact others and how they might regulate their emotions to improve their interactions with others.
The next topic that they will begin to move into will be personal strengths. This topic will support students to identify their personal strengths and how they can use those strengths. In doing so, they can view themselves in a positive way and engage with others using those strengths.
