Three generations of the school community at the 2018 Mother/ Grandmother evening

Mother/ Grandmother & Father/Grandfather nights – These nights are designed for NEPS students to spend time with family members and loved ones participating in fun activities in a relaxed and inviting environment. The school offers these opportunities as a way to promote the importance of family, and how to have fun and enjoy respectful time together. The nights are full of different activities, raffles and a food. NEPS runs a Mother/Grandmother night close to Mother’s Day and a Father/Grandfather event night around Father’s Day.

Tuning Into Kids – A parenting program that’s offered each term at no cost to parents and staff of the school. The program highlights the importance of emotional intelligence (how we respond to our child’s emotions) to strengthen relationships. Tuning Into Kids has been successful since starting at the school.

Lunchtime Programs – NEPS have a variety of programs running at lunchtime. These include: library time, lego club, craft group, art room access, gardening and vegetable patch groups. The purpose of these activities is to support students in connecting with peers, providing constructive lunchtime activities and developing individual skills in areas.
