The Rock and Water program has been operational at Newborough East Primary School since 2012. It is a course which has been developed for boys in schools, and aims to assist them in their development to adulthood and to become honourable men who are conscious of their own power and responsibility within society.
Included are structured activities in the areas of:
- stand strong
- mental power
- awareness of boundaries
- group pressure
- success strategies
- morals/values
- tolerance
Teacher Mike Pullar currently facilitates the program with the Grade 6 boys. Mr Pullar is a fully trained Rock and Water facilitator.
