Communication with parents is important at NEPS. We achieve this in a range of ways. In early 2020 Compass was rolled out as a direct method of communicating with our families. Each Thursday the school newsletter is uploaded onto the school website, and Facebook page. When necessary, paper copies of notices get sent home with the relevant child (if grade specific), or with the youngest in the family. Some classroom teachers use ClassDojo as a communication platform, and/or behaviour management tool. Staff also make phone calls to family members, it’s important that families keep their communication details updated to ensure that we can make contact when we need to.
Staff at NEPS welcome communication with families via Compass, phone or Classdojo. All of this communication is governed by the Parent Code of Conduct.
